A 14-YEAR-OLD GIRL has sadly died whilst riding a horse in Sant Quirze del Vallès in Barcelona, Spain.
It is understood that the teenager had been riding the animal as part of an organised tour with a group of people when the horse fell down a ravine on Calle Rubí on Tuesday, January 28.
The emergency services were immediately alerted with an ambulance and units from the Mossos d’Esquadra police force being deployed to the scene. However, nothing could be done to save the young girl who was pronounced dead upon arrival.
As Euro Weekly Mews understands, the teenager died from the severe impact. An investigation will now be launched into her death.
