Javea
THE third volume of Quaderns del Museu (The Museum Notebooks) will soon be on sale. The 122-page book is dedicated to Javea and the surrounding area in prehistoric times, delving into 30,000 years of human presence there. The detailed investigation by archaeologist Ruben Cebrian Miralles starts with the hunter-gatherers of the Palaeolithic era and ends with the late Bronze Age. This latest volume of the Quaderns includes three articles by different writers on the Cova Foradada and Cova de Migdia caves as well as the Cap Prim archaeological site. All are vitally important to giving an insight into Javea’s earliest inhabitants, the Quaderns’ authors explained.
