Costa Blanca News: Medieval Market in Orihuela


THE Councilor for Festivities, Mariola Rocamora, has announced the celebration of the traditional Medieval Market of Orihuela, which this year celebrates its XXII edition and whose route will cover from the Puerta de la Olma (Crevillente Gate), located in the vicinity of the College Diocesan Santo Domingo, to the Plaza del Carmen during the weekend from Friday, January 31 to Sunday, February 2.

It is “a thematic market full of originality, quality in animation, magic, illusion and the enjoyment of children and the general public is sought”, as indicated by the mayor of Festivities.

Shee also added that this edition “will have high-level musical and theater shows, exhibitions, workshops and artisans of great quality” that will allow Oriolanos and visitors to enter the medieval society thanks to the atmosphere that will be on the streets.
