A man dies in a traffic accident on the RM19, Murcia, Spain

A man has died early today while he was driving on kilometre 18 of the RM19 road at the height of the Exit to Los Infiernos in Torre Pacheco.

The vehicle in which he was driving turned off-road rushing over a two-meter height drop. Around 00:30 a.m. several phone calls were made warning the 112 Emergency Coordination Center of the accident in which two people had been trapped inside the vehicle.
 
Firefighters from the Region of Murcia, a Mobile Emergency Unit, a civil protection ambulance, Road Maintenance and Guardia Civil all rushed to the scene. The incident occurred for reasons unknown and is still under thorough investigation. 
 
Health operators reported that one of the two occupants, a man whose personal data has not yet transcended, had died, while the other wounded was stabilized and transferred to Mar Menor-Los Arcos University Hospital with severe polytrauma.
