Life online

MARBELLA NOW: A lot of love goes into making the programme.

MARBELLA NOW: A lot of love goes into making the programme.

Just thought you’d all like to know that if you can’t get RTV Marbella on your TV sets (TDT channel 37) you can always watch online, either via streaming at the time of it’s first airing – Mondays to Fridays at 2pm – or at your leisure from our RTV Marbella Web and links from Facebook etc.

Marbella Now is specifically designed for you, made with love and particular attention to our diverse resident community. Those of us who live here are undoubtedly #BetterTogether and the programme is a great way to get to know people on a more personal level, not just their business.

Even the recordings of the show are mini networking experiences, a chance to reach out to one other and build alliances.

With this in mind please reserve the morning of Thursday April 23 for our fifth United Nationalities of Marbella Summit #UNMS2020. This is my annual get together where the associations, businesses, charities, schools and local residents who value living in Marbella identify and address local issues that most affect us and then find and implement solutions by joining forces.

Information is power, as is unity, so knowing the resources our city and community has to offer us can only be a good thing. This is why Marbella Now is a must watch as we really have no idea how many gifted people live in our city.

This week’s show was recorded at Rio Padrom Recording Studios with owner, musician and piano tuner Elendil Diez. His studios are specifically designed to record live acts on stage and with the addition of his new record label E+E, certainly a place of interest for the many talented local musicians who need to record their performance and make music videos etc. This is also an ideal attraction for international musicians to come to the Coast to record. It’s up to us as a community to help get this information out – even if we don’t ‘benefit’ directly.

The interview with Elendil aired this week on Monday January 20, Marbella Now #246 and I invite you all to take a few minutes to know what he has to offer, you never know who might just need this information.

You can also find out more about the volunteers needed to keep the Cudeca charity stores going with Natividad Gómez, meet our local star Bill Padley, music producer, radio presenter and the Hitman of the Hitman and Her duo, on Tuesday.

On January 22 we chatted with Peter Claesson who organises events to replant trees and Kaspar Huijsman of Binck Bank and the Dutch Business Club of Marbella. We also found out more about IKEA Malaga thanks to CIT Marbella and a brilliant performance by Lucy Sassoon, singer pianist and voiceover artist for our Friday show.

As I said a lot of love goes into make the programme and our guests have a lot to offer so thank you to everyone for watching and for supporting our resident community – one day it could be your lifeline!
