AT the stand dedicated to Valencia at the FITUR Tourism Fair in Madrid,  Mayor of Los Montesinos, José Manuel Butrón, had the pleasure of sampling a traditional stew of desalted cod, fennel, potatoes and artichoke created by the chef of La Herradura Restaurant, Aurora Torres “With this seasonal dish, Los Montesinos wanted to show the great gastronomic richness of the municipality demonstrating that the traditional is perfectly compatible with innovation and with the preservation of the essence of flavours and product,” said Councillor for Tourism Ana Belén Juárez. Butrón pointed out that “In Los Montesinos, we are fortunate to have three fundamental values for cooking: product, tradition and the skill for cooking,”

La Herradura Restaurant is located on the outskirts of the town and in addition to a large dining room, it offers spaces reserved for holding work meals and meetings. This family restaurant combines traditional and innovative dishes.
