SOON after Holy Week comes to an end in Fuengirola it’s time for the 26th International People’s Fair which will be held at the fairground from Tuesday April 29 to Sunday May 3.

This has become a very popular celebration of all of the different communities from around the world who have settled in Fuengirola and along the coast.

Expect to see stands representing at least 30 countries from around the world where you can get a taste of many of the diverse cultures which are now alive helping the municipality to become a modern, cosmopolitan centre.

There will be a great parade awash with the colours of all those represented on the Wednesday afternoon and the different stands and stalls can remain open until 4am every night (although some may close at 1am).

Enjoy the culture and gastronomy of all of these countries and there will be regular performances from different artists and dancers in the Plaza de España during the event.
