A SUDDEN heavy hailstorm has surprised locals in parts of the Costa Almeria this morning. Long-time Antas resident, British ex-pat Kay Frances posted an image of her terrace and the land in front with an icy, white wintery-looking covering: a far from common sight in the municipality. The downpour of hailstones the size of lentils only lasted a few minutes, making way for yet more rain showers. CREDIT: Kay Francis CREDIT: Kay Francis
