FITNESS enthusiasts will be pleased to hear that Megasport has confirmed that it will reopen its doors in April of this year in Mallorca, Spain. A budget of almost €4 million has been set aside to pay for the gym’s renovations and improvements which are currently being carried out at the premises. Its new look will see members being able to enjoy top range fitness equipment, dedicated workout rooms and a full programme of activities thanks to a total of 650 hours of classes being scheduled each week. The gym is set to open between April 1 and 15, depending on the arrival of high-tech machines imported from overseas. A spokesperson for Megasport said: “We will soon open an exclusive pre-registration period, in which members can enjoy 10 days to sign up without membership fees.” Megasport was once a very popular gym in the capital but was closed in April 2018 by the City Council due to licensing issues and its ‘inadequate services.’
