THE Virgen de la Victoria Hospital, Malaga, has been reinforcing the General Emergency Service of the Hospital Clínico and Valle del Guadalhorce in view of the increase in the related care demand of patients affected by the flu epidemic.

Usually, respiratory, cardiological and cancer patients are the most affected at this time of year.

To make sure the workforce is covered one hundred percent in this area of ​​care, the health centre has hired 25 extra professionals for this period.

Specifically, a total of three doctors, seven nursing professionals, seven auxiliary nursing technicians, five caretakers and three cleaning professionals have been incorporated, to give a better response to this situation.
