Costa Blanca's Teulada-Moraira Fishing club’s first 2020 match

FOLLOWING the Christmas break, Teulada-Moraira Fishing Club fished Section E3 of the River Jucar. Due to the number of steps down to the river and the relatively difficult fishing platforms, there were only six people in the first match of 2020. The Jucar remained very cloudy, the temperature was 8C and a light mist hung over the water.
It was almost two hours before Graham Sewell caught the first fish and when the match finished two members had empty nests and the day’s winner was Graham Sewell with five fish weighing 11.7 kilos.
