NINE runners from the Altea Athletics Club enjoyed their first run of the season in Callosa. They were taking part in the Second Almedia Trail, a mountain run with a 24 kilometre and a 15-kilometre category for runners and 13 kilometres for walkers. The Altea runners opted for the 24-kilometre trail, with its 1,300-metre ascent which was won by one of their members Jose Pico, who finished in 2 hours, 49 minutes.
