MAYOR of Benalmadena, Víctor Navas, announced on Tuesday the start of the remodeling and improvement of the auditorium of the Casa de la Cultura, Arroyo de la Miel, which has a budget of €715,000 and a five-month execution period.

In a press conference he attended accompanied by the Councillor for Culture, Elena Galán, and the Councillor for Operational Services, Salvador Rodríguez, he explained that they decided to “take the draft of the project and the works themselves in a single tender, which has allowed us to expedite certain procedures“.

“This project will involve expanding and modernizing the entire auditorium, as well as installing air conditioning system throughout the Casa de la Cultura, and improving some spaces such as the first floor meeting room,” said Navas, and added, “When it comes to the remodeling of an emblematic building like the Casa de la Cultura, nobody should think of changing its appearance, so we have opted to conserve its external structural space”.
