PRICES for pre-owned Moraira properties were the Valencian Community’s highest last year.
According to the www.pisos.com website’s annual report, these properties sold at an average €1,429 per square metre in the region’s three provinces of Alicante, Valencia and Castellon in December 2019.
This was 2.80% up on December 2018, despite a 1.52% fall earlier in the year, and 0.40% in the last quarter. Moraira’s second-hand properties reached €2,824 per square metre, making it the Valencian Community’s most expensive municipality, outstripping Benissa, Benitachell, Calpe, Denia and Javea in the Marina Alta and Altea or Benidorm where they fetch more than €2,000 per square metres.
Pre-owned homes in Moraira also outstrip those in the region’s three provincial capitals, www.pisos.com reported. As elsewhere in the region, Moraira prices dropped in the last three months of 2019 but despite a 14.28% fall, still headed the rankings.
