MUNICIPALLY-OWNED: Diego Zaragozi inspects the new premises
ALTEA’S Infrastructures department has acquired 630-square metre premises in Calle Alfaz del Pi. This will be used as a convenient base of operations for the municipal street cleaners whose dustcarts, brooms and other materials can be kept there, explained councillor Diego Zaragozi. The €209,000 property was €80,000 below the original asking price, he added, and the outlay would bring an improved street-cleaning service and provide better storage facilities.
