Dangerous serial sexual predator who preyed on women is arrested in Spain

THE Mossos d’Esquadra police force has confirmed that a serial sex offender who preyed on women in Spain has been detained in police custody. 

The 24-year-old man has been accused of committing multiple sexual assaults on women since the end of 2018 across the municipality of Lleida, Spain, causing much alarm in the local community. As reported by the police, the predator had targeted women in the street where he launched brazen assaults on the women in public and in several cases had even followed the women into their homes to commit his terrifying crimes.

The police state that the assaults were carried out very quickly and in the early hours of the morning, where in almost all incidents he had covered his face, making it difficult for the authorities to catch him. 

As Euro Weekly News understands, the perseverance of officers working on the case who made concerted efforts to bring the perpetrator to justice resulted in an arrest today (January 11). It is understood that the man has been charged with three counts of sexual assault and will be remanded in custody where he is due to appear in court early next week.
