Cheery campaign in El Campello, Costa Blanca!

HAPPY MESSAGE: Councillor for Tourism, Marisa Navarro, reveals new campaign to political parties and interested groups

SMILE, you’re already in El Campello!
This is the message behind the town’s new 2020 tourism campaign, which aims to promote gastronomy, sun and the beach, culture and sports and natural settings for filming.
As such, radio and visual commercials have been recorded, and posters and brochures have been designed.
During an official presentation last week, Councillor for Tourism, Marisa Navarro (PP), said: “The smile is the most characteristic expression of joy, pleasure, the happiness or fun a person experiences as a result of their participation in a pleasant event or situation. For this reason, the council of El Campello has decided to design and programme its entire tourist campaign for 2020 around that, aware that we have all the necessary elements to guarantee the happiness of visitors.”
Addressing all political parties and groups with an interest, she added: The main axis of the campaign is the smile and I ask you to participate.”
Mayor, Juanjo Berenguer, pointed out that El Campello is ’eminently industrial’ while boasting 23 km of coastline.
He said: “We must advance on the path of growth (of tourist activity) that we have set out on until we reach the marked goal of de-seasonalisation and positioning in the national and international market. To this end, it is clear that in addition to the natural attraction that our beaches, coves and inland areas represent, we must differentiate the final product, with specialisations that make us stand out, and always linked to sustainable development.”
He added: “If we do not take the greatest care with the goodness that nature has given us, all of this would be meaningless and have no future.”
The campaign will be officially launched on all physical and digital media at the International Tourism Fair of Madrid (FITUR) from January 25th to February 1st.
