FOUR ladies football teams took part in tournament hosted by CD Mijas at their ground in order to help obtain gifts for children’s charity Una Sonrisa in Malaga.
Admission to the tournament was by donation of a new toy that the Super Heroes association will distribute to children in Malaga hospitals.
The event was a close run thing with CD Estepona beating CD Lauro, Candor CF and CD Mijas on what was a cold afternoon.
The football was fast and furious and spectators got to see just how good women’s football can now be.
