The nation of Spain watches cautiously as US President makes a heavy warning to Iran

The nation of Spain watches nervously as America goes on the offensive with stark and hard hitting warnings to Iran, Spain’s largest search word on google.es was ” world war 3″ yesterday.

US President Donald Trump has told Iran he has a list of “52 Iranian targets” that would be “hit very fast and very hard” should Iran strike or target any Americans or US assets in retaliation for the killing of Major General Qassem Soleimani.

“Iran is talking very boldly about targeting certain USA assets as revenge for our ridding the world of their terrorist leader who had just killed an American, & badly wounded many others, not to mention all of the people he had killed over his lifetime, including recently hundreds of Iranian protesters,” the US president wrote on Twitter late last night.

“He was already attacking our Embassy, and preparing for additional hits in other locations. Iran has been nothing but problems for many years.

“Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets, we have targeted 52 Iranian sites (representing the 52 American hostages taken by Iran many years ago), some at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture, and those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD.

“The USA wants no more threats!”

Mr Trump went on to say that the US has recently spent “two trillion dollars on military equipment”.

“We are the biggest and by far the BEST in the World! If Iran attacks an American Base, or any American, we will be sending some of that brand new beautiful equipment their way…and without hesitation!” he tweeted.

Residents in Spain are watching very cautiously now as events start to unfold quite heavily.

Barry Watkins from Malaga told the Euro Weekly News ” I moved to Spain as it’s a peace loving nation and doesn’t even have nuclear weapons or capabilities, this is getting very worrying now though, Trump is clearly taking no nonsense but I don’t see Iran taking it lightly, I do wish to see the Spanish prime minister make comment soon, where Spain stands on this, all my friends here in Malaga are Spanish and are very worried about it breaking out into a world war”.
