Three places in Spain ranked among world’s best retirement spots: Costa del Sol, Bilbao and the Costa Azahar

THE Costa del Sol, Bilbao in the Basque country and the Costa Azahar in Valencia rank among the best retirement locations in the world, according to Forbes.

The prestigious business magazine points to Spain’s “excellent” health service, climate, low crime rates and culture as among the key factors making the country such an attractive choice for enjoying the golden years to the full.

Forbes also points out the cost of living in Spain compares well to many other parts of Europe.
