Spain News: British pensioner is arrested for sharing child pornography on social media

Police have arrested a British man living on the Costa del Sol for allegedly sharing sexual content of minors. The 77-year-old man from the UK was arrested in Velez Malaga for sharing explicit content that showed minors.
According to the investigations, the British national was sharing the files through social media. Police began the inquiry after they analysed images of a sexual nature in which minors appeared. Officers were able to determine that the alleged criminal shared the images on the internet.
At the end of December, police officers located the man in his residence in Torre del Mar. There, he was arrested for the alleged distribution of child pornography. His mobile phone, an external memory and a hard disk were seized by police for analysis.
The arrestee has been brought to justice for his alleged crimes and must appear before a judge.
