THE PHILHARMONIC Orchestra of Malaga, under the direction of Manuel Hernández Silva, will participate in the XXXV International Classical Guitar Competition “Andrés Segovia” in La Herradura, on January 11, at 7 p.m., as the guest orchestra for the grand finale that will take place in the auditorium of the Civic Centre. About twenty guitarists of fifteen different nationalities have signed up for contest where they will perform the Aranjuez Concert (for guitar and orchestra) by Joaquín Rodrigo, which pays tribute to the 80th anniversary of this musical work.
