Mystery as young couple are found dead inside car in Spain

MYSTERY has shrouded the local community of Mondragón in Spain, as a couple’s lifeless bodies were found inside a car on New Year’s Day.

As reported by the local police, the emergency services had received a call earlier today from a worried resident who stated that they passed a car perfectly parked with two people inside who seemed to be unconscious. The resident had knocked on the car window in an attempt to gain their attention but when they didn’t respond they feared the worst.

Ambulances and units from the police then raced to the vehicle parked on Calle Santa Teresa outside of the Mondragón Institute in the quaint Spanish town of Gipuzkoan and found a 29-year-old woman and 25-year-old man, who were both pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers report that the case is ‘extremely strange’ as both victims showed no signs of violence on their bodies and there was no evidence that this may have been a suicide.

As Euro Weekly News understands, the victim’s next of kin have been notified and the bodies have been transferred to a medical centre where an autopsy will be carried out to determine their exact cause of death.
