THE Guardia Civil have arrested a 25-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman for drug trafficking offences in Valladolid, Spain.
As reported by sources close to the investigation, the pair, who were in a romantic relationship, preyed on young children and were able to pursued them with money to sell drugs at schools across the Spanish municipality.
An investigation was launched after officers received an alarming number of complaints from headteachers that there were a high percentage of children in secondary education who were found with marijuana on the school premises.
A surveillance operation was then launched by the Guardia Civil, where they found that vulnerable children in the region had been given the drugs by the arrested pair. Once enough evidence was collected, officers carried out a raid at the couple’s home finding a significant amount of cash and drugs at the property.
As Euro Weekly News understands, the man and woman have been remanded in custody where they are due to appear in court in due course.
