VERA has the highest number of tourist properties registered with Turismo de Andalucia in Almeria. The municipality has 1,202 tourist properties and 5,650 places. Mojacar has the second highest amount, at 971 and 4,931 places. Also offering significant numbers of apartments for tourists are Roquetas de Mar (693), Nijar (648), Almeria city (414), Pulpi (364), Carboneras (201) and El Ejido (118).
