Euro Weekly News Spain: Medieval fun on the Costa del Sol

Crowds admiring the Birds of Prey Credit: Ayuntamiento de Fuengirola

HUNDREDS of children enjoyed Fuengirola’s Seventh Annual Medieval Children’s Party which took place in the Avenida Condes de San Isidro.

There was a huge amount of different activities for them to enjoy, all with a medieval theme including rides, acrobatic displays, several birds of prey, a puppet theatre and a parade.

Adults could watch their children and also browse the 20 or so stalls selling craft items and collect passes for entry to the Bioparc as well as taking their youngsters to get a gift from the wishing well.

This fun event is a precursor to the big Three Kings Cavalcade when their Majesties arrive by helicopter at the Elola sports complex.
