Costa Blanca: Calpe views to look at year-round

Calpe’s Tourism department has issued 5,000 calendars illustrating the town’s beauty spots.
These will be a principal feature in the Spanish and international tourism fairs and workshops that the municipality attends in an official capacity. They are also available, free of charge, from Calpe’s Tourist offices in the Plaza del Mosquit and Avenida de los Ejercitos Españoles.
The images for this year’s calendar were chosen from a collection of photographs that the Fotoclub Ifach recently donated to the town hall. They show Calpe’s landmark outcrop of rock, the Peñon de Ifach from different angles including its Carellot face, as well as the Las Salinas salt beds, the fishing port, the Holy Week parades and the town’s Moors and Christians celebrations.
