A PLATFORM has been created for activists and environmental groups to stand against the expansion at Palma de Mallorca, Spain’s Son Sant Joan Airport.
Hosting a conference last week, a spokesman condemned projects proposed by the airport’s authority Aena next year, including a 16% increase in aircraft positions, increased capacity for baggage handling and up to 1,600 new car parking spaces.
