It’s amazing that we’ve just recorded the 244th episode of Marbella Now TV with RTV Marbella. It’s been five years and probably one of the most fun and eye opening learning curves of my life.

Thanks to RTV Marbella, the town hall and our exceptional international community, we are whole-heartedly embracing the philosophy of #BetterTogether and we are all reaping the benefits.

I’m so grateful to have this opportunity to help connect others and feel so honoured to have had such individual personalities on every show.  Our Christmas ‘specials’ are no different. The line-up for this week is awesome and I really, really, really hope you’ll take a moment to watch every day!

On Monday we meet Simona Mango, Mezzo Soprano together with Bruce Reynolds on the guitar. They perform as the Luna Llena Duo to start off this week’s musical theme.

On Tuesday we chat with Karen Danzig about her life and career before she then serenades us as the main feature of our Christmas Eve ‘Marbella Now.’ Then on Wednesday Karen will perform again with her choir, the Del Sol Singers as our Christmas Day gift.

On Thursday, Boxing Day, Simone Kennedy Harding talks about her singing career, her family, her gospel choir and the fact that she can now even perform the wedding ceremonies, not just sing at them, as a newly ‘ordained’ minister, all under the new umbrella Soulful Ceremonies Spain.

Simone also sings us some seasonal songs that flow perfectly into Friday, our end of the year show, featuring the also very talented Lucy Sassoon. Lucy plays piano and sings us out for the season. Lucy also performs on Thursdays at El Cortijo de Ramiro, which is where we’ll also be on Boxing Day if you want an extra treat!

Last week’s shows were also super special, featuring for example Justine Haughey of the Kempinski Hotel telling us how to win a €2,000 diamond at their event on December 28 and we get up close and personal with Michel and Steven Euesden!

To watch our show and take part in this enormous community incentive tune in to RTV Marbella at 2pm on weekdays or just visit our website www.rtvmarbella.tv/television/Marbella-Now  to watch all current and previous episodes.

Marbella Now really is a team effort and so I want to thank in this instance the Kempinksi for hosting our shows throughout December with such joy and generous hospitality!

Also thank you to all my guests for their time and enthusiasm and my RTV Marbella cameras and those who edit my show each week to bring all this together; Terry Shaughnessy for our theme tune ‘It’s a brand new day’ and to Surianne Dalmedo for our UNMS theme tune ‘We are as one’ – every time I hear them I remember just how lucky we are and how much better we are together.

Happy Christmas dear friends, thank you too for reading my column and for the Euro Weekly team for always having my back!!!
