RENOWNED International Hotel Chains such as Melià, Magic Costa Blanca or Barceló Hotel Group have opened their selection processes for hotel managers.

In the last few weeks, executives from the Meliá, Barceló Hotel Group and Magic Costa Blanca chains have carried out selection procedures in search of young people with specific profiles for their own training plans with a view to joining their hotel manager programmes.

The recruiters of these brands have visited several locations on the Costa Blanca in their search, including the prestigious School of Tourism and Hotel Management Forst.

The director for Spain and Northern Europe of the Barceló Hotel Group, Rafael Asuar, and the head of Human Resources of this same chain, Caterina Llodrà, visited Benidorm to present their Management Training Program and conduct interviews to select candidates with the intention of integrating them into their program.

As Euro Weekly News understands, this is not the first time recruitment for positions in top national and international hotels have taken place in Spain’s Costa Blanca. Last November, Juan Francisco Rodríguez, the Regional Talent Scout for Meliá Hotels International, and the Regional Area Activities Coordinator of the same chain, Darío Calero, were on the Costa Blanca with the aim of incorporating talent into their hotels around the world.

Juan Francisco Rodríguez, vice-president for Magic Costa Blanca did a similar exercise earlier this month with the same objective, to incorporate talent into their hotels.

The recent encounters form part of the activities of the Master in Tourism & Hospitality Management at the School of Tourism and Hotel Management Forst, whose headquarters are in Benidorm. Its director, Javier Jimenez, believes that the fact that prestigious national and international hotels chains turn to them to find their future managers is an honour and a reflection of the school’s outstanding reputation and hard work.
