Costa del Sol News: €32 million to be invested in roads in Malaga province

The project will see road safety improvements in Malaga province.

The Ministry of Development has announced it will invest €32 million in roads in Malaga province. The plan for 2020 to improve road infrastructure will begin at the start of the year with six initial projects.

Minister for Development and Infrastructure Marifrán Carazo, explained that €22 million will go towards increasing road safety and a further €10 million will be used to repair and maintain existing roads.

According to Carazo, the six initial projects will improve travel conditions for 1.2 million people. Among the upcoming improvements, work will be done on the Ardales-Ronda A-367 road and the A-356 between Casabermeja and Velez -Malaga.

The Ministry also highlighted that emergency renovations would be carried out in over twenty municipalities, after roads suffered the effects of DANA back in September.
