Alicante Museum Of Contemporary Arts Gets A MakeOver credit: Agenda Cultural Alicante
THE Museum of Contemporary Art of Alicante has received the 2019 Medal from the Faculty of Fine Arts. Councillor for Culture, Antonio Manresa and the curator of the museum Rosa Castells, were recognised by the Faculty of Fine Arts of Valencia for their influence in the Valencian art scene. The Faculty of Fine Arts of San Carlos grants the medal annually, in recognition of institutions and personalities that promote culture and art in the Valencian society. In previous editions, it has valued relevant contributions to the Community’s artistic field. Along with Alicante’s Museum of Contemporary Art, artist Juan Genovés also received the Medal, in recognition of his personal and artistic career. The Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Valencia began the initiative in 1995 and year after year have celebrated knowledge, work and commitment that aims to achieve a better society through culture and creation.
