THE ALICANTE municipality of La Nucia will open three hotels generating around 400 jobs next year, as announced by the local mayor, Bernabé Cano on Tuesday.
The biggest of them will be the four-star Hotel Residencia with 144 rooms, located in the Ciudad Deportiva Camilo Cano.
Meanwhile, the La Nucia and Las Palmeras hotels, with four and five stars, respectively, will have 80 and 100 rooms and are being built in the town centre.
The three projects add up to a global investment of €35 million.
Cano has also announced other projects for next year, including a second sports hall, currently under construction, a new large parking lot in the Ciudad Deportiva and the completion of the works of the David Ferrer Tennis Academy.
Additionally, the works of the Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy Centre will begin, which will entail an investment of €8.7 million, and a Medical Assistance Sports Clinic, with a private investment of €12 million.
