POLICE are looking into the death of a British pensioner whose body was in his Denia home for some days before his demise was reported at midnight on Monday, according to Spanish press.
The 78-year old lived with his 51-year old Spanish wife on a complex located on the road between Denia and Javea, reports said.
It was also reported that while there was nothing to suggest the ex-pat had met a violent end, an autopsy is being carried out at the Alicante Institute of Legal Medicine to establish the cause of death. Meanwhile the wife is undergoing psychiatric testing in a hospital.
