Axarquia news: New health centre for Nerja

Mayor of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo

MAYOR of Nerja, José Alberto Armijo, has indicated that the General Secretary of the Territorial Delegation of the Ministry of Health in Malaga has already confirmed the acceptance of the plot of about 3700 square metres where a new centre will be built.
After a meeting held last Friday, the councillor was certain of the beginning of the administrative procedures for the formation of the relevant public deed of free transfer, “which occurs more than a decade after the Ayuntamiento of Nerja agreed just ten years ago.”
Armijo is now satisfied that something has come of efforts made in recent months and said: “Now it is time to materialize this procedure in the shortest possible time and focus the effort on the approval of the Functional Program as a preliminary step to the drafting of the construction project of the future health center of Nerja.”
