THERE was a serious fundraising side to Eleanor & Gilly’s Line Dance class Christmas dinner held in an Albox restaurant.
As well as the three-course meal, the dancing to Christmas music all afternoon, and the coffee and mince pies, there was a raffle to benefit Fundraising in Arboleas, Caring for Everyone (F.A.C.E).
The class added the cash raised from the raffle to money it was already holding for the charity to make a grand total of €331, which was presented to F.A.C.E. representatives Lynne Dobie and Pete Martin.
The line dancing class gave a special shout out to Bethen Evans, Tonia Grey, Charlotte Potts and Connor Myles for working so hard to make the Christmas dinners so special.
