THE National Police have arrested a 14-year-old girl after she launched a horrific knife attack on her 13-year-old friend in Madrid, Spain.
According to reports, the incident took place late yesterday evening (December 14) on Plaza Patricio Martínez in the capital. The victim waited outside her friend’s door whilst she sent her ‘threatening messages’ relating to an earlier dispute.
The teen in the house then came outside and pounced upon the victim, stabbing her 4 times in her throat and neck. Stunned residents immediately called the emergency services where a short time later officers from the National Police arrived at the scene.
The girl who was stabbed was taken to hospital, but thankfully her condition is not considered to be serious. The other teen was arrested at where we at Euro Weekly News understand that she will appear at the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office in due course.
The police have reported that the incident may have stemmed from jealousy between the two girls.
