High flying Championship leaders Leeds United will look to end Neil Harris positive start as manager of Cardiff City since the resignation of Neil Warnock when they host Cardiff City today at Elland Road.

Leeds are flying high and in form and on course for the Premiership for where the legendary club belongs and look to have put the disappointment of last season firmly behind them as they sit joint-top of the table with West Brom.

 Marcelo Bielsa’s led Leeds are already 11 points clear of third-placed Fulham whilst Cardiff City are on recovery mode after a poor start to the season with lack lustre football directed by hoof ball specialist Warnock. 

Neil Harris ex Millwall manager and once a player at Cardiff City – has though brought them back to life lifting them up the table but has yet to establish a win against a classy playing side like Leeds.

Harris has done well though as Cardiff Fans viewed him as a “budget manager” as Billionaire owner Vincent Tan still seeks to recover his investments after 2 failure seasons in the Premiership to which on the first appearance saw them spend and waste funds massively and still get relegated as current Manchester United Manager Solskar took them down and further flopped in the Championship.

Cardiff fans are hard to please since having a taste of promotion success and in the main were not impressed with the appointment of Harris although so far he’s won them over with a sterling start to the job in hand.

Cardiff, now sit ninth in the league with eight wins from 21 games. The Bluebirds are only three points behind sixth-placed Preston North End and are well and truly now in the play-off race if manager Harris can get the rub of the green against larger clubs in the division.

This will be a large test for Neil Harris today as he approaches a big club game.

The last five meetings have provided tough games for Leeds but now with Leeds firing on form it will be tough today for Cardiff according to David Carter of the Leeds United supporters group in Benalmadena.
