A MACABRE find in a house in the municipality of Vilobí (Girona) today (Friday) where two girls under the age of 10 have been found dead in their family home.
The Mossos d’Esquadra have opened an investigation into the violent death of two sisters aged 5 and 6, allegedly at the hands of their mother, who later attempted suicide.
According to sources close to the investigation, it was the children’s father who found their corpses, with obvious signs of violence, in his house in Vilobí d’Onyar this afternoon.
Subsequently, the mother attempted suicide by jumping off a bridge on the AP-7 and was run over by a lorry, although she is still alive.
Now the Mossos are investigating whether the mother has anything to do with the deaths of her two daughters.
