TV SENSATION Caroline Flack has been arrested and charged with assault following an alleged row with her boyfriend Lewis Burton.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed the presenter has been charged with assault by beating following an incident at her home in Islington, London, in the early hours of Friday morning (December 13).
Ms Flack, 40, has been accused of attacking her 27-year-old tennis pro boyfriend, where he was reportedly taken to hospital after the rumoured argument.
According to the Daily Star, several police cars were spotted outside her home today after officers were called to a ‘domestic disturbance’. An ambulance then arrived at the scene where Mr Burton is thought to have been taken away to be treated for his injuries.
As Euro Weekly News understands, Ms Flack will appear on bail at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court on Monday, December 23, and it is not known if her arrest will affect her roles hosting popular shows such as Love Island.
The pair started dating earlier this year after being introduced by mutual friends, making their relationship ‘Instagram official’ in August. The pair regularly post ‘loved up’ pictures together, with the most recent one being shared last week.
