ORIHUELA’S Local Police shooting team have come second in a national competition.
This follows their third place in the national championship of police shooting held in Gijón. The latest competition was the annual shooting contest of the Command of Special Operations (MOE) in which 13 teams competed.
The competition included three practical shooting exercises, in which different weapons were used, carrying heavy equipment for military manoeuvres and shooting from a moving vehicle with targets at 30 metres.
Opposing teams included National police, Guardia Civil and military units
