CHILDREN in Adra have the opportunity to learn how to cook typical Festive Season fayre over the Christmas holidays thanks to local council-organised workshops.
In the first workshop to be held on the morning of Saturday December 21 in the La Alcoholera, youngsters aged from six to 15 will find out how to make gluten-free sweet treats, suitable for celiacs.
The focus will be on Christmas Eve in particular, with dishes including a Christmas cake, almond-based biscuits and cakes and a surprise mousse.
There will then be four further workshops on the mornings and afternoons of Friday December 27 and Friday January 3.
Places on the workshops are limited. Further information and registrations at the Town Hall Culture department in the Edificio Plaza.
