FESTIVE: Each group is offering their country’s traditional food
EXPATS in Almuñécar inaugurated the Christmas Market in Plaza de la Constitución, where it was received with great enthusiasm. The Market will be open from 11am to 10pm every day until Saturday, December 14 and has been organised with the participation of local associations formed by European residents. The market put Christmas spirit in the air Town Hall representatives took part in the official opening and toured the stalls, greeting all of the association’s representatives. The main attraction is the wide selection of Christmas dishes and treats, including traditional desserts and confectionary from each group’s country. The Associations and Town Hall representatives celebrated the success The associations based in Almuñécar and La Herradura, have once again joined together to offer their gastronomic traditions and a good atmosphere for residents and tourists alike. This is the second market to be celebrated over the festive period, with a local artisan market planned to start on December 16 on the Paseo del Altillo
