THIS year, the Rojales Pantomime Group will be presenting their version of Treasure Island conceived by Ben Crocker.

Long John Silver, and his faithful old bird Polly need a pirate crew to sail on the Squire’s ship, The Hispaniola, to the Caribbean to find the buried pirate treasure and he tasks Seadog Sam and Seaweed Willy to find him a dastardly crew.

By accident they bump into the ladies of the Smugglers Cove Women’s Institute at Bristol docks who happen to be on an afternoon outing and decide to recruit them. But as they know more about knitting and baking cakes, it should make for an interesting journey.

The very talented dancing group, The Crazy Ladies will be joining in the fun for the panto at the Cardenal Belluga Theatre in San Fulgencio on the evenings of January 30, 31 and February 1 starting at 7.30pm.

The Rojales Pantomime Group raised around €3000 from their last pantomime, which was donated to various local charities and they are hoping to raise even more from this next hilarious production.

Tickets cost €8 for adults and €5 for children and to reserve your seat or find out where you can buy tickets, please contact Christine on 678 212 034 or email shimserv.gmail.com.
