THIS week, the gifted writer Isabel Motos presented her new novel at a special event in La Herradura, Spain.
Organised by La Herradura Reading Club, residents and members of the council descended to the Civic Centre to obtain a copy of ‘Humo y miseria’.
Those who attended were able to purchase a signed copy of the book and were captivated by Isabel Motos as she spoke about her work and the inspiration behind her latest novel.
Born in Granada in 1991, Isabel Motos is a Professor of Philosophy at the Institute of Nerja, where her literature has won several awards. In 2015, she collected second prize in the Fourth Literary Contest of the University Library of Granada, later winning the Jordi Sierra and Fabra Prize for Young People’s Literature for her novel “La Golondrina”.
