A TEENAGE boy is fighting for his life after being shot outside a tube station in North London, England.

As reported by the police, the emergency services rushed to Turnpike Lane station after reports of a shooting at 11.15pm last night (December 4), where they found a 17-year-old boy with gun shot wounds.

Metropolitan Police officers were pictured giving life-saving emergency CPR to the boy in a nearby chicken shop on the High Road after he was shot.

Subyan Younas, manager of Roosters Piri Piri, said police dragged the teenager into his restaurant and battled to save him until paramedics arrived. The youth was then taken to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Waqas Siddique, delivery driver at the shop was also inside when officers burst in carrying the injured teenager. He said:

“Three of his friends were carrying him by the legs and the hands. He was unconscious, they were shouting at him, ‘Just wake up’.

“He had been shot in the chest. We tried to ask what had happened but they were just shouting – Bring water, bring cloths”.

As Euro Weekly News underdstands, no arrests have so far been made and anyone with information in the UK is urged to call 101.

The shooting comes just 24 hours after another teenager was critically injured in a suspected drive-by shooting in Maida Hill. As reported by the Metropolitan Police, this year 25 teenagers have been shot and killed, amid violent crime continues to rage on London’s streets.
