IT was with heavy hearts that the Moftag Club of Calpe paid tribute to their dear member, Yvonne.Sadly, she passed away on November 20, aged 72.Yvonne moved to Calpe in 2010 and joined Moftag a yearlater. She had a huge heart for giving but tragically it was her heart that let her down in the last few weeks of her life. She was incredibly talented and knitted the most beautiful toys, which she raffled to raise extra money for Moftag’s charitable causes.Yvonne loved to socialise and was even known to entertain Moftag members with a song on the odd occasion. She worked hard on the club’s committee, helping to plan and organise events for members to enjoy, too.In addition to all of this, she was a dedicated wife to her husband, Bob, for almost 52 years and was a proud mother to one daughter and two sons. She idolised her seven grandchildren and leaves a huge void in all of their lives.“Sadly missed, but never to be forgotten,” the club said. “We are grateful that you could share a part of your life with all of us at Moftag.”
