Costa Blanca's Javea Police attend Advanced Investigation Course

Latest techniques for accident reconstruction for police officers from Javea’s Policía Local force attended a short course on reconstructing the scene of a serious road accident.
The session hosted by Javea town hall was also attended by officers from Benitachell, Gata de Gorgos and Campello. Javea’s mayor, Jose Chulvi, and Public Safety councillor Pepa Gisbert visited the closing minutes of the course that demonstrated to officers how to carry out an advanced investigation, particularly in accidents with a grave outcome.
The town hall has also acquired new technical equipment designed to assist this type of investigation, together with computer software enabling officers to process all the information that has been gathered at the scene of an accident.
The mayor applauded the conscientiousness of all the officers attending the course and their desire to add to their knowledge while providing a better service for the local population.
Gisbert also stressed the municipality’s efforts to make the best possible material resources and training available to the Policia Local, enabling them to carry out their duties in optimum conditions.
“After all, Policia Local officers are the closest to hand and are usually the first to arrive at the scene of most emergencies,” the councillor pointed out.
