DECEMBER is going to be a great time for youngsters in Alicante Capital with a number of special events and entertainments running through until Christmas Eve.
In recognition of the early bank holidays, there is a series of shows for children in the Town Hall square with song, dance and carols with a presentation by the Crazy Cabin Big Band and over the weekend enjoy snow cannons, a snow ball photo call and another show.
In the Plaza de Toros, there’s an ice rink, ecological slide, a nativity scene and a Christmas market for the adults.
Santa will be making a regular appearance at the Panteón de Quijano until December 23 and to avoid queues there will be a ticket dispenser and a screen showing who is next to chat to the bearded figure who is there from 10am to 2pm and 5pm to 10pm
Photos can be taken or there will be an official photo service with costs pegged to no more than €4 but there is no obligation to purchase the photo.
