On December 15 at 7pm the Collegium Musicum Costa del Sol Choir and Orchestra returns to the IPV Palace Hotel and Spa (Beatriz) in Fuengirola.

This has now become a much welcomed annual event when they celebrate Christmas with a special concert that changes each year.

This Christmas, the programme includes a variety of carols from different parts of Europe, music from the score by Tchaikovsky for the ballet The Nutcracker as well as from the ever popular film The Snowman based on the book by Raymond Briggs as well as festive music by Handel.

Tickets cost €12 and are available at the hotel, Nicholson’s Jewellers in Fuengirola and from Collegium Musicum.

Following the performance, for an additional €15, guests are invited to mingle with the musicians and supporters to enjoy a chat, drinks and a finger buffet but must confirm their attendance by December 8.

For further information see their website www.colmus.org.

There will be another performance on Tuesday December 17 at the Iglesias de la Encarnación, Marbella which starts at 9pm but admission is free until the church is full.
